Permaculture and composting

In 2004 Celeste discovered the program 'WWOOF' and never looked back! Since then she has become a certified master composter and earned her permaculture design certificate. She has designed, installed, and managed garden projects small and large and implemented composting solutions along the way.

This project was a collaborative effort during a permaculture design certification course to design and strategize solutions for a small farm located in upstate NY. 

bali center for sustainability

Celeste assisted with design and implementation at the Bali center for sustainability in 2016. She helped train incoming gardeners on the vision for the project and ensure that the garden project was successfully implemented.

Celeste has worked a s garden manager at many small farms and growing projects. She managed a small kale CSA in Brooklyn New York, and this experimental garden project in upstate NY shown to the left.
